Komodo National Park is home to the largest monitor lizard in the world, the Komodo dragon. Those wishing to spend more time in the park are advised to make arrangements to travel to the park through the gateway Labuan Bajo in the west of Flores. The main arrival and departure point from Bali to Labuan Bajo is served by regular scheduled flight from Denpasar i.e. Merpati, Trigana, and IAT Air. There are three gateways to go through the park, Loh Liang in Komodo Island and Loh Buaya in Rinca Island which provide Spartan accommodation for tourists.
